Dragon Maiden Free Spins
Two scatters start re-spins, three or more award up to 12 Free Spins with growing reels.
Dragon Maiden free spins start when 3, 4 or 5 Dragon Scatters land, for 8, 10 or 12 spins. Two scatters are enough to begin, since they start a chain of held re-spins. Inside the round, every Dragon Scatter makes its reel taller, and full-height reels earn Golden Free Spins on a 7,776-ways grid.
How the Round Works
The feature links three parts. Re-spins lead into it, Free Spins are the core, and Golden Free Spins end it.
| Trigger | 3, 4 or 5 Dragon Scatters |
| Spins awarded | 8, 10 or 12 |
| Lead-in | Re-spins after 2 or more scatters |
| Reel growth | +1 symbol per scatter, up to 6 high |
| Bonus spins | 1 Golden Free Spin per full reel |
| Golden grid | 5 x 6, 7,776 ways |
| Bet | Same as the triggering spin |
| Max win | 5,000x the bet |
How to Trigger Free Spins
The animated dragon is the Dragon Scatter. The Wild cannot substitute for it, so only scatters trigger the round. The count you hold when spins finish determines the round's length.
Three or more scatters in one spin start the round immediately. With fewer, the re-spin feature offers another shot.
| 3 | 8 |
| 4 | 10 |
| 5 | 12 |
The Re-Spin Route With Two Scatters
When 2 Dragon Scatters appear, those reels lock and the others spin again. Any new scatter on a re-spin locks its reel and gives another re-spin. The chain stops the moment a re-spin adds no new scatter.
- 2 scatters: the re-spin starts, both reels held
- A third scatter lands: Free Spins are now secured
- More scatters land: the round grows to 10 or 12 spins
- No new scatter: the chain stops and pays what is on screen
Growing Reels During Free Spins
The round opens on the standard 5 x 3 grid with 243 ways. Any Dragon Scatter now adds one symbol to its reel's height. Reels expand individually, so the grid may look lopsided.
Each reel can grow to 6 symbols. Taller reels create more ways, rising from 243 up to 7,776 with all five reels full. The expanding reels page details the ways calculation.
Golden Free Spins
A reel hitting 6 symbols earns one Golden Free Spin. A Dragon Scatter on a reel already at 6 gives another. Golden Free Spins activate after the regular Free Spins finish.
- All 5 reels are set to 6 symbols high
- Every Golden Free Spin plays on 7,776 ways
- Golden wins are added to the Free Spins total
- The bet stays the same as the spin that started the round
This is where the 5,000x top prize is most likely to come from. A full grid of 7,776 ways with the random Wild in play gives the largest line-ups in the game.
The Wild Inside the Round
The Dragon Maiden may turn Wild randomly in Free Spins and the base game. When she does, all Dragon Maidens on screen become Wild. Each can expand up to 3 symbols high and replaces any symbol except the Dragon Scatter. On taller reels, this improves chances to connect symbols.
